Here we come a wizarding
among this magical world.
Riding thrills and casting spells
and feeling my heart awhirl.

Exploring the secrets of
The Forbidden Journey inside.
Or soaring on a Hippogriff
on a brief but gripping ride.

It’s the closest thing to being
a student at Hogwarts school.
Hanging with Harry, Hermione, and Ron
and feeling instantly cool.

Here you can be a big kid again,
run around and play and be merry.
You’re not too old to pretend
you’re a wizard just like Harry.

I come here alone all the time
whenever I need a pick-me-up.
I sit around here with my butterbeer
in its classy collectible cup.

I browse through every shop
along the cheery Hogsmeade streets,
and wish for all the money
to buy even more merch and treats.

The biggest shop is by far
Filch’s Emporium,
where you exit after your
Forbidden Journey’s done.

But down to Hogsmeade you’ll
find rows of other shops,
where you can find every kind
of Hogwarts and house props.

You’ve got Dervish and Banges,
Gladrags, and the Owl Post.
Across the way, there’s Honeydukes
connected to Zonko’s.

On the other side of the
Moaning Myrtle bathrooms,
you can peruse Wiseacre’s
and another massive backroom.

Because tucked back here,
or through the side door,
is Ollivanders shop packed
with wands ceiling to floor.

Or the Ollivanders Experience
will exit through here too,
after an immersive show where
the wand might choose you.

Lastly, you can even shop in
The Hogsmeade Station.
They ring you up at the
ticket counter for extra fun.

Now proudly sporting my
new Hogwarts haul,
and waving around my new
Ollivanders wand at it all.

I weave my way back through
Hogsmeade to find,
where and how to cast spells
and make magic mine.

There are 13 spots where your
wand can cast a trick,
as long as you know the word
and the right swish and flick.

Or I’ll pause to take in a show
with the Hogwarts Frog Choir.
Or the Triwizard Spirit Rally
just like in the Goblet of Fire.

All this magical meandering
can make this witch hungry.
So I’ll stop for some wizard grub
to feed my belly.

Feast on surprisingly good
Three Broomsticks food,
washed down with a refreshing
Hogs Head custom brew.

Take my snack out back
to sit down with a view,
of the Hogwarts Castle
for an hour or a few.

I especially love the Castle when
it comes to life with lights,
for the seasonal shows that run
a few times on special nights.

I can spend an entire day
soaking it all in.
Always wearing above all
a very silly grin.

To know me is to know
my love for all things magical.
This world conjures so much of that
till my heart’s brimming full.

So let’s Apparate to Universal Studios
and stroll through Hogsmeade.
We’ll Accio fun and Revelio joy
and feel magically freed.
